    Default Wiring inline fan

    Morning ladies...

I have recently purchased a cheap inline and fan carbon filter, the instructions on the filter show that it needs the 'blue wire in the (N) terminal, Brown wire goes in the (L1) terminal for low speed or (L2) terminal for high speed'
My questions is, what do I do with the earth? do i put it in the unused terminal? i don't really wanna go running this puppy without it being earthed as i value my life.

    Any suggestions?

you don't need the earth wire as I have a tt inline fan..Just connect the blue and the brown to L1 or L2..cut the green earth away from the 3 core wire but also don't connect the earth into the plug either..

Another stupid question if anyone is online...... the ducting that came with my fan and filter doesn't fit over the ends, it just pairs up with it...... how am I supposed to get it to fit? or am I going to have to use gaffer tape?

it will fit mate if you put a little oil or grease on the fan..just wriggle it about a bit bit by bit.Its a tight fit as it has to be..when it gets a few inches on the fan it will maybe need tape or a metal clip..

Managed to get it onto the cf and have jubilee clipped it down, cant really cut it to fit the fan yet as i need to get into the attic, which is in the bedroom...... where my mrs is currently asleep!! at 1230!

You off work today? Or lucky enough to be a 24/7 ganja grower?
