will not stop growing

I have a aeroponic setup and use BC line of nutriants. I have great growth but the thing is they won't stop growing.Almost 9 weeks in and all I have is popcorn buds. The plants are about 10x the size from when I switched to 12/12.What am I doing wrong.

how high is your lamp from the plants? and what sort of light you using?

Are they Sativa? if so that would explain it. Some Sativa's can take upto 16 weeks to finish.

led? that sound like its way too far away. shouldnt they be like 2" above, how hot are they?

I'd of thought 2" for LED also,I only have my 600w HPS that kinda distance from plants,the 400wHPS I can get to within 8-10" of tops.

Put you hand on top of the plants and bring that light right down until your hand gets hot! I'd say shove a fan in between canopy,and light if it was HPS.
