Hydroton Clay Pebbles are made of clay with high water storage properties and balanced capillary action to accelerate plant growth.
Hydroton pebbles offer a smooth surface without sharp edges that can cut delicate roots and harm plants making them vulnerable to pest and diseases.
They ensure good root aeration and are pH neutral.
Can be mixed with soil to provide better drainage, providing good aeration to the mix.
It is essential that you wash the clay pebbles before you pot up to clean off the dust.
It says it can be mixed with but dosent say nuffin bout layering the bottom of pot

I use John Innes No.2 mixed with about 20% perlite for veg.
and I use Plagron Batmix for flower. It already has perlite mixed in but I always put a bit more in.
