    At 5.0 ph you are very acid not alkaline at all...i never tried the dolomite lime as a fix but you would not need much a tablespoon sprinkled out on top and watered thru could possibly help.....but really get your acid/alkaline view in check....7.0 is neutral anything below 7 is acidic.....
