    yes it is a common thing, there are a few threads on it have a search around the forum or use the search function at the top of the page

    I topped prior to scrogging (see link in sig) or did you mean after the screen is on?

    I always scrog and always top them. I tried training a full cola once and it worked well but not worth the hassle imo when you have to bend and weave the rest of the plant anyway

    yes topped pre screen and in screen with no probs

    Yep, same here.
    Done it both ways, and topping it you get a much more even screen, if you don't top, the main cola can dominate too easily

    I personally don't like to top my plants! They get angry with me and i start to cry! However i like to cuddle with them, give 'em alotta loooove and peace! They will grow long and hard for you my friend

    when ya top, take the bit that u cut off and treat it as a clone, i tried it and got a massive bud on my first time. i reckon cos it has nothin else to consentrate on but the main bud.
    U guys ever tried that?
