    Default cannabis on the nhs

Since I was a child IV suffered with ADHD and always assumed id grow out of it, unfortunately that wasn’t the case and I still suffer with it today. I went to my doctor a couple of years ago and was sent for a psychological evaluation and was re diagnosed with adult ADHD. I have since seen a few psychologists who all tried me on different medication none of which worked. I’ve always maintained that cannabis helped and after the failure of the drugs they tried me on told me they couldn’t help me and if cannabis worked to carry on smoking it.
I’ve just been to see a new psychologist who said he’s going to try and get my doctor to prescribe me cannabis... now I thought cannabis wasn’t available on the NHS? I know sativx is available but from what I’ve read up about it it doesn’t seem like its designed to have the desired effect on me as its a 1-1 ratio of CBD and THC (if anyone has used it before it would be interesting to hear what you think about it) where as I need it to have a higher CBD content. I have since had a chat with my aunty and she told me that I can get a card which entitles me to buy cannabis legally from a shop near kings-cross. Has anyone else heard about this? Or is my aunty talking rubish?

I am afraid she is. You can technically get sativex but you will struggle to get a prescription and if you do it's expensive.

Any doctor in this country can prescribe cannabis for an illness if they believe that cannabis will work for you, whether you get it or not is another thing. There is also nothing stopping you from going abroad to say Holland and seeing a doctor there to get it prescribed, then go to the pharmacy and get the prescription filled and bring it back through the red customs channel and declare it along with the prescription that was issued to you. NOW, if you do manage to get it through customs without problems you will either have to go back to holland when you want your prescription filled again or write to the HO and ask them to issue you with an import license for the cannabis which they will refuse.

You have rights under the The Schengen Agreement...

The Schengen Agreement...contradicts it self if your british citizen living in holland and vacationing to the uk this ok if you dutch living in uk you cannot bring back threw customs using The Schengen Agreement...and only allow a 30 day supply i know that a guy has done this but the law has been corrected since as it was too misleading its always worth a try tho

looks like he been a naughty boy tho quote; Herbalist Faces Jail For Importing Cannabis
A herbalist who sells cannabis-based medicines to hundreds of multiple
sclerosis, Aids and cancer patients is facing jail tomorrow after admitting
that he tried to smuggle 25kg of cannabis into Britain from Switzerland.

Tony Taylor, who runs an alternative medicine shop and "cannabis
dispensary" in King's Cross, London, was arrested at Luton airport in March.

He told Customs officers he had bought the cannabis to make specialised
medicines for 700 patients, many of whom were referred to him by local GP
    surgeries and Aids clinics.
and so on here is the link if ya wanna read
