Just heard on the radio a school teacher has been sacked.He showed two pupils how to snow sledge he was sacked for not carrying out a risk assessment.

I read this story this morning and I have to say it's absoloutly fucking crazy. When will people reawaken and realise that life is a risk. We cant keep people wrapped in cotton wool. The kids need to get out there and experience life and all that goes with it.

The thing is i could half accept it if it was across the board,all over the world or even all over europe,but it's not it's just here in the UK!

My, i remember the case Ganesha but i don't remember the outcome,perhaps it was seen fit not to report the outcome unless in local rags but school helpers around the country are left with the worry that they could be in trouble if they intervene in anything.
