Not many posts on here so i'll start one,
Christmas morning and the wife gives me a pressy, i have no idea what it is even when i take the wrapping off, all i know is she says not to shake it about.



Then i opened it





Now ive only ever had a cheap little plastic bong before and thought it was a little bit harsh, but i like this one very very much, my mate told me to put some ice in the downpipe and woo hoo The Ashman has a new toy thats getting used everyday now.
So if anyone has any other tips or tricks on how to get the best out of my bong i would be very interested to hear them.

Yeah that's a sweet looking bong ash, I like it, cool case too..I'd recommend a Carbon Filter, that makes a more healthy smoke and keeps the bong cleaner, check what size your downpipe is 14.5 or 18.8 it should be one of them, and go get yourself one..

Carbon filter for a bong really ? I've never heard of one, have to look that up.
I've smoked for nearly 25yrs and never bothered with bongs or pipes just joints but now (since i grew my own) i'm always looking to try different things to get the best out of my MJ,
The only bad thing i bought was a VP500 vaporiser just cant seem to get it right but it was cheap so i thought i'd try it, saving up to get myself a decent one.

Yeah sadly with Vapes you have to get your hand in your pocket, cheap ones are a waste of time in truth..Also dunno if that bong has a diffuser ? Can't tell from the pic so maybe get one of them too, then it's fully kitted up.

Could you point me in the right direction for a cf and diffuser, where am i likely to find them (online)
I'll tell the missus that she needs to buy me them as my pressy is incomplete haha

Well basically any decent sized online head shop should have one, obviously i can't point you in the exact direction as technically that would be spamming, but if you google carbon filter and diffuser you should be able to find one from there...

Yea get a diffuser. A weedstar one would cost you only £8 for a popular smoking website (just google glass bongs and it should come up).

I havnt got a cf for mine but heard good things about them.

Beeline is good so you dont use a lighter so not inhaling any nasties, I brought mine for £3 delivered from a popular auction site!

I have a small one-hitter bowl which is nice and my mate showed me a technique the other day of just touching the flame on the bowl for a split second and then inhale so you have lots of little tokes from a bowl instead of one big one. MUCH less harsh and a nicer high!

Diffusers are a must - by the looks of your photos, I'd say your bong is an 18.8 size, so bear this in mind when looking for bits for it Then I'd get a carbon filter or an inline precooler(found the same places you would find diffusers) for ultimate satisfaction.

Check out www.percolated.co.uk for some fine glassware. A lot of pricey stuff on there but some pretty cheap gems too, unlike anything you'll find elsewhere

Also start hinting to your missus now that your bong's brilliant, but it would be a bit better if you had a Herborizer attachment for it.. Then hint again in easter.. Then summer.. Then autumn.. Then just before Xmas.. Annddd score!

Trust me its an addiction. So far for me glass 500ml ice notch I have brought:
2x WS diffusers
2x EHLE diffusers (on order)
1x WS One-hitter bowl
1x EHLE bowl (smash the first when after coming home from a night out having a bong)
1x EHLE Carbon Filter

Hopefully I have finished buying things, fucking love bongs!!!

Nice prezzie matey...

Couple of recommendations to make your schmoke as smooth as possible...

- Leave the bong in the freezer for a few hours before schmoke
- run the tap as long as possible to get the coldest water you can
- fill up that down pipe with as many ice cubes as you can fit

Glass is sooooo much better than plastic, makes a huge difference to the taste and smoothness.
