Can I just say that I remove heavy leaf folarge 2 times while in veg 4 weeks and they seem to love it fan leaves and covering leaves but I can say one thing for sure it makes whence in veg removing as all the bottom middle plant grow through to top bigger coalers so all the feed energy is equal and there all on same diet .i grow 404 nft and no harm done .also have a leaf plucking 10 days into flower removing all leaf. Covering a coler . Happy plucking

Good thread Grub, I have learned something today, I have been regular defolliating my plants, after reading a thread on here some time ago. I have to say that yes I have seen stress in my plants because of it and removal is counter productive, because when the plant tries to replace the leaves, it also puts alot more leaf into the buds as well. I will from now on try the more natural approach, it will save me loads of work too.
