    in sharks sticky thread he says you can get a 200w cfl envirolite RED with reflector for £60 i cannot find at this price anywhere please help

    am i beter off with a 250wt or 200 wt also what color spectrum should i buy?

    The more watts the better mate. Some will say go for red, others blue... i would say either, both provide a good spectrum of red and blue light, the red lamp provides slightly more red obviously, and the blue lamp more blue.

    I opted for red.

    you use blue spec for veg, red spec for flower! if you cant afford both then get a dual spec bulb.
    you can do the whole grow with that.. the higher the wattage the more bud youll get mate.

    im gunna buy this 250wt red http://www.basementlighting.com/Merc...1/PROD/MG200GL now i just gota worry bout temperature, any ideas

    temperature and smell are both controlled by extraction fans and carbon filter. both are a must mate
    not so much in the seedling stage, but by the time your late in veg you should be running a fan n filter

    Don't put links in threads mate, it's a big no-no.
    With regard to temps, It depends on your grow space size and the air flow in the room, with that light you could probably get away with passive intake (a vent with a fan sucking in cooler air.)

    cfl dont give much heat out...so you`ll be fine with even the smallest fan just to get the air flowing
