Can you wash the external pre filter sleeve on these or other cabon filters? its removable so am wondering if I could at least hand wash this so I can get it clean again ready for next time.

Not sure but I would guess you probably could.

yeh it looks like it could but I wanna make sure just in case it shrinks or falls apart if I try
i washed mine a few weeks back, didnt shrink or fall apart... came up like new
