Default any advice on a home made light raising device?

Im using thin-ish chains to raise my lights up and down but the way Im doing it is slow and annoying - how do you raise yours? if you made it yourself can you tell me how

Assuming CFL's and no reflector then all I did was use string on the E40 fitting end and a bit of wire tied to string on the bulb end. Wrapped the string around a coat hanger. Works wonders for my 125w Envirolite.

I used to use strong fishing line through holes in the roof of the grow box tied off on nails. Then I got some proper hangers.......much easier

Jack chain and s hooks. It takes seconds and aint gonna break. Just don't trust those easy rolls for a big reflector

I find yo-yo hangers are completly shite. I'm gonna get a set of EZ gliders soon. Maybe it is just the wieght of my 1m parabolic reflector but one of them is a bit dodgy, doesn't always lock in place and take ages for me to get it straight.
