you won't know if you've got a nice plant to keep as a mother until it's too late to clone. yes clones will always be the same as their mother.

i say; fuck the bagseed and buy some good genetics.

If it's bag seed, doesn't that mean its very likely to be a hermophradite??

There's no reason why "bagseed" shouldn't produce good Weed, in fact there's one strain (I forget which one off the top of my head) that was reportedly found at a grateful dead show & when it was grown out, it produced a winner. I saw the Dead back in '89 & was so fucked, I couldn't have found my hand in front of my face let alone any stash on the floor Lol

Would bag seed be that bad??? After all most growers go for good strains nowdays, so in theory bag seed would just be the next generation of what ever weed it was, if they are all the same type of plant of course.

Bagseed will produce mediocre weed tho much better than sprayed or council soap bar but why settle for that, buy yourself a decent female & take cuttings from that, ergo excellent weed OK?.

if there's a seed in your bud, then there's a strong chance the plant turned hermie. Afterall, commercial grows don't really breed (a few maybe do). All commercial growers want are female plants so they wouln't have males in with the females. So it most likely to be a hermie, or that there was a rogue male in the flower room too.
