    Default yellow banded cfls

    i bought a 300w cfl off ebay and i was readin about them on the internet and a couple of people say they are shit and dont work like the blue and green banded ones, does anyone know if this is true

    It will do something but might not work as good as the others. it also might break easier and put out less lumens than advertised.

    they give a 12 month guarantee with it so i cant tell if its dodgy or not, nice1 anyway for quick replies

    Chill out. It's a common thing where some cfls don't even use 300w of power like they are advertised. I said it may be so wind ya neck in.

    yeh mate, it is a fact aswell.
    250w maxibright bulbs will do a much better job then a cheap 300w ebay cfl.. sorry man but flygerian is right, so chill..
