Default A question for experienced hempydudez

    Hi
What size hempy buckets would you recommend for auto flowering chronic ryder-meant to yeild higher.
I am on my first grow for years & want to do them with hempys.
How soon can I transplant into a bucket & how high up does the permite vermaculite go & how high does the plant sit in its bucket.
Also what extra percentage-yeildwise-would you say a hempy gives over soil in your experience.
    Looking forward to some banter.Thanks

ok hi i can answer most of you question 10L bucket will be plenty for a auto, ive grown much bigger plants than autos in those, just follow the guide on here i start with 1 L hempys and when around 10inches i put them in the 10L buckets fill you buckets right up then you get more room for root growth put the plants in as deep as you can then the root dont tale long to get to the res in the bottom
as for yield over soil i cant say

    Thanks man
Its the depth of root which was bothering me, I will cut some 2L bottles in half for my first hempy, the seeds are born & approx 1 inch above soil in a small pot. When should I transplant them to the 1L hempy bucket after carefully washing off the soil.

you dont need to wash off all the soil it dont hurt to have a bit on the roots if you like its up to you i would wait now untill you got a couple of sets of leaves then if it has stretched a lot you can put it deeper in the hempy, the stem you put under the medium will grow roots as well so deeper the better when you transfer to hempy bury it right up to the first proper set of leaves
