Yes mate 2 plants in flower. Is it ok to leave it at tht over night or is it going to cause problems. iv now got a cool star shade aswell so when the light comes on its not drying the air as such

D.i.y hydro at the moment. I understand that all the water involved helps create humidity. Just didnt think this much.
Max and min is 69% and 44%. That ok?
Im hoping that when i start using the wilma it will stop it slightly cause the resevoir is more concealed

lights dry the air out with their heat hence why its higher at night, you need to keep it under 50% or you can get budrot ive been fighting rot on the last three grows once i got the hr below 50% it slowed down and i hope now it stopped you can cover you pots to stop evaporation and remove any water laying anywhere
get a dehumidifer only sure way to keep it down, you can get a good secondhand one on ebay for 20 quid they cost 80 or so new for a three L one ,
i lost a lot of main colas to rot its heart breaking i can promise you dont risk it

as up2 said on wet days it much higher and in winter its really high

just seen you using wilma cover the pot with plastic and that will stop some rh

yeah it should be ok for a small grow.. price is a bit steep for the size but price is nothing when your lovely buds stops from getting budrot

Cheers lads. Il be looking at purchasing. Not big are they? Havnt got loads of room. Just checked and its 51%. Iv only ever had budrot once on a diesel because the buds wer squashed up the wall due to size of the plant. But iv never had problems with it ever. Until i bought the hygrometer and now cant stop checking lol il sort it..

RH is the measure of how much water is in the air, relative to how much water the air can hold.
This is all related to temperature. The higher the temperature, the higher the amount of water can be suspended in the air.
So, at night, when your temps drop, the amount of moisture in the air is the same, but the amount the air can actually suspend decreassed, meaning your RH goes up.

The guys were right in saying you can resolve this with a dehumidifier but it can also be controlled by raising your lights out temps.

I had a similar problem a while ago and solved it by splitting my grow room in half and running one half 6am-6pm and the other 6pm-6am, this gave me a much more even room temp and therefore a much more even humidity.
A knock on effect was that yield increased due to the even temps as well as a more stable humidity.

    Hope this helps.

Cheers mate. Wont be able to split because room isnt big enough. But would it help by having lights on during the night, say 8pm-8am?
Dont want to have a heater due to electric usage

Iv sorted it out a little bit. Got a little hole for all my cables. About 2 inches. My ballast was right by it so when the negative pressure happens it was sucking in the warm air. humidity has gone no higher than 51% today. Also put my intake fan on higher speed so il see what happens tonight
