anyone do this, do you cut all leaf and stems off the bottom during veg only? also i was told you need the big fan leaves so wouldnt lollipopping remove alot of them from the bottom half of the plant? how do you no how high to go up??

I do it gradually over a period of a few weeks, Usually starting just before 12/12 and finishing up about 2 weeks in 12/12, Taking about the bottom 1/3 of the plant away because light won't penetrate down there.

Yeah lots of people warn it will stress the plants causing hermies, yet many people do this with no problems at all(myself included).

It's not easily done in veg though as the stretch is hard to predict, is much easier during the stretch period. That's why i do it after flipping anyway

It wont hermie them mate ive done it every grow, my mate chops everything off bar the top 3-4 branches and what you loose in shitty popcorn your big root system will put into all the big lovely nuggz at the top of the plant, exactly as cocogrower has showed mate, the botton 3rd of the plant and every few days after 4 weeks flower i remove large fan leaves that are in the way of bud sites direct light, good luck mate
