Default Gerninated seed stalks are failing me. Tell me why please

Last batch of seeds I had I put half straight in soil and germinated the other half. I got about the same success rate from both but the germinated plants are coming up with super weak stalks that are breaking even though I I followed the guide on here to a T.

During sprout I have them under a fluorescent about 5 inches away and a 450 watt MH bulb I was going to move them under after about a week. I have a T5 on the way as well.

    Should I
    A) Put my germinated seeds further down in the soil
    B) Move the fluorescent light closer
    C) Put them straight under the T5 light
    D) Something completely different or a combination of things listed above

    or E,
    check humidity.
too high a humidity causes a week stem on seedlings
I MAKE THINGS UP AND DONT GROW.
MY COMMENTS ARE MY OPINION ONLY AND I DO NOT CONDONE ANYONE TO USE IT CONTRARY TO LOCAL LAWS.

I live in a low humidity environment and havent added an extra besides foiliar spraying on my larger plants so I dont think that would be it.

No propagator, humidity is low, temps is high 70s/low 80s (I know I need a thermometer but the rooms currently a build in progress)

what are these temps in celcius?
    i dont use farenhieght sorry.
    i also use coco 100%.

ive had the soft stems that makes the seedling fall over and its mostly been down to high temp + humidity
or 2 much light forcing growth that the root system cant yet support.

A propagator would help, even cling film over some kind of dish, but I think you are frying them with the soil

What soil are you using?, you should be using seed and cutting compost with about 20% perlite.

    not a fail, a lesson !

Its in a 7x7 room with a fan sending in consistent cooler air.

I will be seeling it and adding a second fan as an out in the next week.

Wouldnt a propagator raise the humidity which would be bad? I also have a 72 site one with heat mat on the way.

be careful when watering the seeds in coco..coco is pretty soft and you will lose the seeds so use a spray for a week

that missing extractor fan wont help you much,
get an extractor fan fitted to remove hot air.
