    Question Citronella Oil as a fly repllent????

    Ive got one off these Its been in for around 4 week.
    I have just put some citronella oil on it do you think it will work.

    as you say it is a repellant ,where as the chemical in the fly catcher is an insect killer.
    most citrus derived repellants work but they are not very effective on all insects.
    if you're retired or you ain't got a job and you ain't growing and smoking weed ,i don't know what the fuck you are doing!

    Im not to bothered about killing them just dont want them in my groom.

    To be continually effective most citronella repellent formulas need to be reapplied to the skin every 30–60 minutes

    It's probably as toxic as a toxic thing, but it keeps the flies away like nothing else.

    im using "hot shot no pest strips" in my groom and for the last 5 mths not see anything moving they can a bit controversial, i suggest having a read up on them, some love them, some dont, i use them one week in 4 in my room and bag itup in-between times this way one will last a year i think,
    after having mites im much happier not having to look for pest all the time, it make my growing more enjoyable

    Just to let you all know that this morning theres no sign off the pesky Fungus gnat
    Looks like citronella works
