\Very enligtening. THanks for the post
I appreciate this thread has been around for a while but do I need a contactor relay if using LED lamp ?
Great thread.
I was always sceptical when using any electrical items when confined in a space with mosture, water spray etc. Always good practice to ensure all the plug sockets have the correct fuses too. I had to recently slice a 4-way cable to have the plug and cable to wire in to an extractor. I modified it to provide an earth and was using it for 2 days before realising that the plug uses a 13A fuse. I replaced it with a 3A just to be on the safe side. Haven't heard of any accidents but I assume they can cause more than just a pop
Very uselful thanks
I totally agree with Evo on his statement. Going all quality digital ballast ramps up the current thus helps decrease the arc when the power is turned on to your lights.
Timers last longer. Again just dont over Amp any timer what ever type your using.
I had lots of timer issues in the past with older magnetic ballast and timers relays. Going digital solved everything except my power bill.
Now Im looking for the rite LED on the cheap
good post evo
