    Ok Re: Cannabis....

All Cannabis is Classified as Cannabis Sativa L.

Sub Species include... Cannabis sativa, Cannabis Indica, Cannabis Ruderalis, Cannabis Chinesis, Cannabis Kafiristanica & some more I can't remember off the top of my head.

Sativa = Originate from Equatorial areas, give or take 15 degrees lattitude either side. They're long flowering, High in THC, Low in CBD. Sometimes they have no CBD & the Equatorial Pure Landrace Sativas are vey High in THCV, Tetrahydrocannabinol ( a very Psychoactive cannabinoid, present in Sativas that get high levels of Ultra Violet rays)...High THc, with ThCV 7 no CbD = Very Psychoactive High, no couchlock & even trippy

Indica = Shorter plants, High in THC & Higher levels of CBD, most strains of Indica originate from the Hindu Kush mountain range, or Afghanistan, though there are also others from India & Nepal...The Ratio of High THC & raised levels of CBD gives a very heavy stoney effect

Cannabis Ruderalis = Plants originating from Russia & certain other areas. Ruderalis was originally a wild Plant species which flowered in proportion to the length of it's life rather than photoperiod. Breeders started to incoorporate Ruderalis with Indica & Sativa crosses to bring down the flowering times.
Long before the current trend for autoflowering Hybrids, seeds that were bred with Ruderalis were generally considered a total waste of time, as they were Low in THC as are Most Autoflowering Hybrids.

    Hope that explains it ok

Oh I forgot to tell you about Haze...

    Haze
was bred out in the 1970's by two Brothers from California & their Nickname was the Haze Bros. They wanted to create the Ultimate Sativa Cross & after many years they crossed Columbian, Mexican & Thai Sativas to Create the Original Haze

They eventually retired from breeding & on a trip to Amsterdam they passed some of Their Haze seeds on to Neville. Neville created Nevilles Haze by adding a touch of Northern Lights to bring down the Flowering time

Sativa's take more than 14wks to finish, Indica's about 8-10wks
Sativa's have a higher THC > CBD ratio, THC get's u high, CBD stoned.
Sativa's are very light feeders, Indica's more often than not heavy feeders.

Sativa's are normally called haze/have haze genetics in them and their genetics come from places like Thailand, Cambodia, Hawaii and the like.

Indica's are normally Kush and the like and their genetics come from places like pakistan, morrocco, nepal etc.

Most people grow Indica/Sativa hybrids, normally leaning towards the Indica side as they are easier to grow indoors, and produce bigger yields in a shorter time.

Depends what you are after. If you are patient, have the room and prefer to get high and giggly and still have the energy/motivation to get something done then grow sativas or sativa dominant hybrids.

If you are after a quick easy smoke that will get you stoned then lean towards an Indica.

    Hope that helps.
    Nice one thats proper helpfull!!!!

sativas make me more like "up", high i guess, whereas indicas just chill me right out. i do love them both tho!
i didnt know they used ruderalis to make autoflowering strains, i'll be keeping away from them from now on. screw ruderalis its bullshit! it should be banned! oh hold on...
