    Default Tomato plant food???

    Hi all

    Ive got some tomato plant food, just wondering is it any good for my plants

    its called PHOSTROGEN tomato and vegatable food with seaweed extract lol

    N-P-K is 4.5, 3.5, 9

    Ive already gave them a feed but was just wondering if you get good results with it??

    The level of K (Potassium) is too high if your plants are in veg.

    Need more K for flowering but not much if you got big pots and good soil

    You might not even need to feed them yet!

    haha i hope end up with some fat hairy monsters as well, prob will new years eve haha,

    ye there in flower mate, was just curious as iv never used tomato plant food b4, i guess il find out how they take to it

    Hey there

    I use Tomorite (tomato feed) all the time, cant be arsed with expensive nutes... NPK is 4.0 4.5 8.0. Sure its not the best, but better than no nutes at all...

    hi wwg i agree with timothio.too much nitrogen for flowering plants for my liking.but as above it's better than nothing.all the best

    Did a grow with nothing else apart from tomorite, then realised I needed a p boost. Plantsnwere healthy, just not the beer can colas imwas used to. So grab some pk13/14 to boost up the p and you should have a complete veg/flowering nute. I do quarter dose pk week 3, half week 4 and full week 6. I just water em in week 5 to clean the soil out a bit.
    Check monty bongs diarys as he had the tomorite dialled, but I think he repotted often.
