Thanks for this post, very helpful. Juts a quick question thouuh, I keep reading differing advice on repotting autos and type fo soil to use etc. Can someone just confirm my plan is ok (first grow, fridge conversion nearly complete) :
Germ in paper toils in warm room (airing cupboard) 27 degrees. Once showing, pot straight into 8ltr(ish) pots in Bio-Bizz All mix. Then straight under 24/0 150W CFL for a week or so befroe dropping down to 18/6.

Soemone told me that the soil is too strong for new seeds....

I don't plan on repotting at all. Does this plan sound ok?

yea. never transplant autos. they will be stunted. and as far as soil goes. as long as it is an " airy " or loose soil the plants will thrive. they do not like heavy soils. or heavty nutes.

alright mate, thanks for that, was also wondering if I should use the Metal Halide for the 1st 12 to 15 days, or should I just use HPS all the way?

hi duke, like kuchink i only use hps but if i had one yes i would use it until i seen signs of flowering then hit them with the hps, the mh bulbs are great for veg and keeping your plants nodes nice and tight,
