    I think the major key is to not transplant the autos.. and also give it enough room for the roots to grow. 1 gal pots do not cut it. if you end up with a tiny budstick then you need to give the plant a little more room to flourish. 3 gal pots or bigger atleast for good results.

    about the cfls?say i use 3 105 watt bulbs??still not gonna be great????

    I'm growing under a 200 watt cfl and it's ok depends on your circumstances and room size I suppose to what type of light you use

    yes it will give you a nice crop, thats 315watts you are useing, look at some of the cfl grows inthe grow diary section, all the best mate.

    Thanks guys, 1st one showed her head today, so got the cfl on, then once there all past seedling faze its 600w mh then hps!

    sounds like this thread is going to be around for a while. everyone feel free to pitch in anything that you feel needs to be added.. I can not say much about growing with cfls as i have no experience with them at all. hps all day for me .. fresh babies right under a 400

    and also.. those 2 plants are in 12/12 room with my photo plants. i did not want to dedicate a whole new space just to autos.
    still growing good tho

    a note to all auto growers, autos need at least 18hrs of light a day. yes sometimes older growers put in an auto or two in with a reg grow to fill a space but it will yeild less than on 18 plus hours of light. new growers take note. cheers guys.

    I know you say topping is a big no no,but three weeks ago I snapped the main stem from one of my Lowryder#2 purely accidental and it's gone mental !!

    Not trying to dispel any myths here but maybe it's only accidental topping that works
