Default Anyone currently doing Osmocote in Hempy?

Read a thread awhile back about using Osmocote in a hempy. The poster swore that it was the way to go but never came back for questions people had.

Is anyone using this? In keeping with my new KISS way of growing it seems like that would be an ideal solution.

    Thanks,
    Abby

Osmocote slow release granules are prone to "flash release" ie releasing all their nutrition at once or "not at all" (dependant on water temp) when used in hydro systems. I have tested them in hydro many years ago so unless they have changed their formula best avoided imho.
Weed w!ll get you through t!mes of no money better than money gets you through t!mes of no Weed.

youll be sorry if you do their made to mix in potting compo not water. what would happen if their still releasing nutes (if they worked) when your trying to flush? even for growing weed in soil/compo their still a bad choice for the previous reason.

Gonna use coco in my next hempys with a perlite res.
Last ones was perlite and vermiculite 50/50 mix with perlite res.

I'd keep away from anything that releases nutes slowly or retains water.
What about them gel balls you soak for 24 hours then plant into them?
There used for decoration but hold like 2000 times in water in size from unsoaked to soaked.
