Default Recommend me a simple pic editor

Im in need of a simple picture editor like the one that comes with MS office.
I find the auto correct function very handy.
I have had a look and found a couple of online ones that look ok but dont fancy having mj pics on other sites.
The download ones all look good but im confused which i should pick. you know how it is the more you look the less you see

    Cheers people

I use Corel Photoimpact 13 or Corel Paintshop pro 14
I find both easy for resizing pics or making the photos a tad brighter.

both can be found in the torrent world and alot smaller than Adobe stuff.

i use picasa 3 its free and not a bad photo editor
to use it to resize use the export feature and change to 700 pixels and that is spot on if your uploading here,
there is a big online data base for using it as well just google what you want to do

The trouble with the adobe torrent stuff is the updates, you can't disable it merely block it but it still try s to catch you out.
it is the best editing program but its a big program.

    Gimp then.

I use loads CS5.5 from Adobe so PS and FW.

Gimp has enough for what the average user needs.
