Hello all!

I recently discovered my gums are in a fairly bad state so decided to stop smoking for a while, at least until the dentist has had a proper look and fixed them as best he can. I would rather not take smoking back up again after I have had a 'deep clean' (whatever that means) so have been thinking about buying a vaporizer. How little can I get away with spending on a vaporizer without it being shit/possibly detrimental to my health? I can't afford the ridiculous prices for the best ones and so was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for good cheap brands? I'd rather not spend over £50, which I know is a ridiculously low amount for a vaporiser and it may not be possible to get a decent one. Any ideas?

I have found several which look alright, but can't really tell just by looking at them on a website alone. Such as the Top-Vapor Herbal & Aromatherapy Vaporizer, the Vapbong Vaporizer or the Top-Vapor VP-150 Vaporizer.

Now obviously they are often made of different materials, some have dials on them so you can control temperature better etc. What materials should I avoid, and is it best to get one with a dial or can I get away with something like the Vapbong Vaporizer which looks pretty useful not only because it is cheap but also because it is small, which will be good as I am moving out of my uni house soon and don't really want my parents to find some 'hardcore' equipment like a vaporiser.

I might be being very dense, but is that just for a nicotine hit? I want something to smoke weed out of. I am not a tobacco smoker (other than in joints) and so don't really have a problem from stopping myself smoking. I just really enjoy being high but can't justify the damage it does to both my lungs and gums.

oh lol , i use the arizer extreme a great vape i think , costs around 200 , i didnt recognise any of the vapes you mentioned so thought ciggi vapes, but ill tell you this the cheapo vapes are wank.

Cheers. I have read some reviews and it would seem that the Vapor Genie and the Vapbong seem to be ok. Obviously they are more fiddly than smoking a joint, a bowl, or using a 'proper' vaporiser but I don't have the money for the latter (and don't want a large piece of weed smoking equipment in my house) and I do not wish to inhale combusted plant matter anymore.

I've got a [magic flight launch box they're an awesome hand held vape good for taking out and about and they have a life time guarantee on them. They're battery powered and come with 4 rechargeable batteries as well as the charger for them.

They're a bit pricey but you can get them off fleabay cheaper I paid £60 for one just doesn't have the tin they come in. Although I have been seeing some threads on reddit of people building their own so if a good one ever comes up I'll post it over here.

you can get a volc of ebay for about 250 lungs 100% better, if i now smoke a spliff it don't do shit to buzz me up no more.

Try this poor mans non smoke high - it cud be the answer ...

1. Buy one packet of plain digestives.
2. Crumble 5 biskits into a bowl
3. Add MJ
4. Add a little milk
5. Stir to a thick paste.
6. Remake 4 biskits with your paste on a pice of baco foil.
7. Pop under the grill for a couple of minutes till they turn back into biskits.
8. Eat them all with a mug o' tea. Dunkings allowed.
9. Diary the effects.... it will take 30-60 mins to kick in
10. Repeat excercise ad infinitum until stoned, whitied or physically sick.

i could'nt possibly advise on how much MJ to put in the mix. They call me the lightweight round here.
