    Default What is the canopy

    Hi a newbie question

    I read alot of refernce to the "canopy". What is the canopy I have tried searching the internet but I cant find a good exsplantion. Please can someone explain in lamen terms

    So to comfirm the canopy is the top of all the plants .. ?

    I notice in the picture all the plants are on one level, it dosent always work out like this so what would the canopy be if it was uneven..?

    SCROG'ing is about the easiest way mate. It ensures an even canopy.

    knowing what the word means is one thing, using it in Cannabis growing terms is very different mate.
    I've heard the word 'pearl' used millions of times, especially when my old girl used to knit.... but I couldn't tell you what it means in terms of knitting patterns.

    The thread is posted in the novice section so I dont understand what you on about , there are several meanings for the word canopy , relating it to growing is a bit different. Once again why respond lol. (loser)

    Supercropping will slow down the tallest branches for a few days..gives the shorter ones a chance to catch up

    but like grub said scrog is the way to go, or you could try to bend/tie down the tallest branches away from the light.
