    Post is my plant doomed?

Hi, sorry about the bit OTT title lol. Anyway, Im attempting my first grow, of auto turbo diesel. Ive germinated the seed, the outer casing came off, so I planted the seed, with the taproot hanging out. I planted it below the soil surface, then read I was supposed to leave the cotyledons above the surface, so I did that, and in the process, both cotyledon leaves came off. There is about 1mm of both left, that to be honest, look like very tiny first true leaves. They are still white however. Do I stand any chance of this still growing, or should I just throw it away?

Thanks for the reply, but I thought the cotyledons were necessary for growth, and without them, the plant will die as its not able to get light? Im totally new to this, as you can tell lol

has anyone had experience of this happening before? at the moment, it looks like two teeny stalks sticking out of the soil, like literally a millimetre in size, hardly noticeable lol. Its in sunlight, with moist soil, not too moist though, with plenty of air getting to it ( next to an open door, Im planning on doing an outdoor grow when its big enough to support itself
thanks for the replies, appreciate the help

    It can't.

Or can it. That's the big mystery of life. Only time will tell but its gonna take weeks to recover. Plant another seed that's gonna grow faster if you leave it to do its thing.simples.
