planning a trip to dam

hi everyone im still i the planning stage but im trying to get over to dam in august for a couple of days with the Mrs, the main reason for this post is to find out if there is anything i should be aware of apart form the red-light dist and the usual crime crap.

i know i should relay be using the search function (never got on well using search engines and such) but im looking at hotels in dam square so im hoping that's in walking distance of some good coffee shops, can anyone recommend any good tourist attractions i can take the Mrs she not a big smoker

Coffee shops: Find Abraxas, it's towards leidesplein and well worth finding.
Use the vapes in baba's (buy weed elsewhere)
I quite like hunters weed but it aint the most comfortable place to chill

Hotel old quater is my favourite hotel but it's in the red light district next to hunters (not where the girls are, mostly coffeeshops some sex shops and a few bars on the street)
