cant agree more with young as it was up to him to make the left wing position his own,he,s the best weve had since peter beardsley but he played shite all 3 games........rooney was awful for the last 6 weeks of the premiership,but i really danny welbeck had a good 3 games imo,he held the ball up and brought others in to the game,how many times did he clear the ball in defense last night(shitloads)he played like a lion,when not many did,which was the problem all the way,woy sat on his arse the whole of the second half not saying a word,no motivating......adam johnson should of been their to play instead of young(young always wants to cut inside the twat)we had no cover for gerrad after he cramped up,henderson fucking who?lol and not taking rio was wrong too...........i,d like to see the back of hodgson right now and let someone with passion take over.........................got too say gerrad had his best comp in an england shirt by far,but it was his last no doubt...........liverpool need to spend big on a replacement or they r fucked.................

Old skool on thinking I'd have to agree about welbeck really his first tourney and only about his 6th game so maybe I was a little harsh I agree rio should have gone but then again I thought lescott has really put his name in the cap think he's had a really good tourney think there's a few positives come from it but also highlighted that most England players struggle to pass a ball 10yrds which means we'll always struggle to win major tourney,s

How Italy didn't score, I'll never know.

Thought England had half a chance, especially when Glen didn't put his opportunity away but c'est la vie. England were very average throughout the tournament, should not have conceded two against Sweden and simply "did the job" against Ukraine.

Some good play yesterday, just a shame they didn't take their opportunities.

A group of average footballers with the rare splash of quality.I watched France the night before and thought that was shyt,but the England game was appauling.Apart from a 15min purple patch.If thats ENGLAND and how we perform,im not watching them again.Especially when the wet paint drying i can watch.Fkn keep that crap.The interviews i couldnt beleive at the end.Only Roy Keane on the highlights later got near the correct diagnosis,ther average and not good enough.
