Important day for cannabis!

Hey everybody,

today is arguably quite an important take for cannabis politically. I'm sure you all know today Professor Nutt and others are meeting with the Home Office SC in London.

Just writing this to say it starts at 11am, not sure if it will be on the news or BBC parliament BUT it is going ahead today.

Im not entirely sure... according to wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cannabi...United_Kingdom) the legalise cannabis alliance gathered between 1.1% to 2.5% of the votes in 13 constituencies - which isnt bad going really but the political system here in the UK isnt conducive to actual democracy... people think that independant parties are a lost cause and go back to voting for one of the big 3 so its hard to really get an idea of the public opinion. I voted for the lib dems last time, there was a lot of rumours about their drug policies but obviously those spineless bastards will never get anything done. I think that it would have more of a positive impact than a negative one - especially if one of the big 3 changed their stance.
