    Default Answered: plant stretch!

just wondered when my plant will stop stretching? Been on 12/12 for 14 days now,ive kept my 600w hps as low to the plant as possible without burning, but i seem to be moving the light up every day, i am now slowly running out of head room. The strain is barneys farm pineapple chunk and the ones ive seen grown b4 have always been much shorter. Any ideas????

How long has she been 'flowering' for though, as they'll go a couple of weeks after flowering not flipping.

If you are running out of headroom fast try bending the highest tops over (pegging back with string) to keep them lower until the main stretch is over "

"pineapple chunk.. 34day veg, 103 day flower.."

    quote form shark..

lot of sativa going on in the genes by the sounds of it, so expect a long stretch/flower..

but the smoke should be half decent!

nah, lol, mutant as in strange genetics or rogue phenotype. Some just never stop stretching! As ^^wobble says ^^ especially the sativa ones.

You ought to also just double check your max/min temps because the bigger the difference the bigger the stretch.

i got a similar problem, breeders claim mainly indica genetics, turns out not..

have had to do some 90 degree training to keep the tips out of the light

    seems to work fine :]
