appreciate the reply budmore, hammerhead is still available on alot of websites but advanced nutrients have recalled the product for some reason, so you can see it but you cant buy it, tried and failed on 3 seperate sites. i thought some1 may know of a decent alternative.

PK13/14 all the way for me, Hammerhead is only a pk booster its just they use different ratio`s of P & K

I was in the same situation a month or so ago and the guy in grow shop said they wouldn't have a decent batch of hammerhead until December. When asked for an alternative he put me onto something called green sensation it cost me 38 quid for a pretty small bottle. But the guy insured me of results and he said hed put a lot of others onit and there were all loving it. Anyway iv just cropped recently and I can honestly say the green sensation worked wonders more than impressed. I didn't like paying the 38 quid at the time but now I am more than happy I did n don't think il ever change back. And it's stable a lot of sites selling hammerhead are still shifting the unstable batch so just be careful.

I personally wouldn't use something that strong on my plants, but I feed light anyhow. Also I hope your giving some N.

Vitalink buddy is wank man its watered down pk 13/14 , wewll what i mean to say is its got alot lower P.K ratio to 13/14, look at the numbers on the back P & K, also pk 13/14 is cheaper. but that said i dont like any vitalink it was ok years back when their wasnt much choice but theirs better stuff around nowadays, IMO, cheers m8

Something about this thread has hit me.
The initial question has a familiar ring to it.
Namely, it takes the guise of someone making a claim in a negative manner about Advanced Nutrients
I have been using Hammerhead in the old formula and new one for about 5 years or so. I am a fan of AN products if you wade through the marketing hype and find what you really want.
I just did a search for product recalls and found nothing about any nutrients anywhere by any company.
So why is there a claim that there has been a recall on this product?
Where did this info come from?

On a side note, having such high levels of P as there is in pk13/14 is NOT as beneficial to plants in bloom, it can actually be toxic.
Also, on price, Hammerhead is around the same price as PK13/14, so where people get the idea this along with other AN products are expensive is beyond me.
Maybe people with a vested interest, such as those selling stuff start these roumers in the hope of selling more stuff with higher margins.
