The Cost of Weed

Hi everyone I am trying to establish an idea of the average price of weed on the street per oz.
Then work out how much a grow process costs in comparrison to just buying it.
I know there are things like contaminated weed and the pure joy of growing but im just trying to build a financial comparrison.
Any ideas?

i can pick up real stuff dried and cured for about £130-£150 oz and lower quality stuff for like £100 i know someone that payed £190 for a oz of armagedon cheese about a week ago

120oz east side of scotland edinburgh area its good green if you can get it of the right person most of the dealers i no grow themselfs and ther is non of that contaminated shit going about or getting suppled through the dealers i no. works out at £20 every 3.5 grams its never changed price in the ten odd year i have been smoking it.

Pound for Pound it works out a hell of alot cheeper in the long run to grow your own to pay mental prices that dealers charge and that a fact mate

Round here its £160 oz for your average homegrown, Unknown strains.

I got a half oz of what was almost like bush, leafy homegrown with seeds,

That was £60.

a £20 bag will be weighed at 2.2-2.6

I currently pay £50 for 7g of good weed.

I smoke an Oz a week, so growing is kinda compulsory for me!

Ithink the reason its cheep wher i stay mate is because the high percentage of smokers are of the younge genaration and can only afford shitty soapbar and smoke backy soapy mixes through the bong so dealers have to keep it reasnably cheap so it will sell. even though i still think it is a bit exspensive but stil rather pay for clean grean than brain damage soapy

For me it's about the same as Rizzah.

£150-180 for good uk grown bud, unknown strains. Not dried properly, not manicured or cured.

Up to £200 for properly clipped and cured bud. The strains available on the street here at the moment are Armageddon and Cheese.

I've seen a contaminated oz sell for £160.

I'm currently smoking an unknown strain (maybe ww). It was wet when I bought it, big fan leaves removed but all other leaf still on it. This is the second time I've scored the same stuff, it costs me £600 for 4.5 oz. That's £133.3 on the oz, which is not a bad price, but then I manicure it, dry it, cure it, losing a bunch of weight in the process. I guess I smoke about an oz a week, probably a bit less.
