Ohhh the amount of cool stuff to look at

So how much we looking at for the trip? Have you any links (sorry if you have already posted)
No worries mate, I'm sure there is a little cult of us who get our buzz from visiting places like this, North Korea is another destination I'd love to visit just to be "inside" and under the communist eye of the Kim's would get me going!

Basically what happens mate is you fly to Kiev (most popular way of doing things), I personally would want to stay there for around five days and I'll be going with 3 friends. Expedia advertises decent looking hotels around the £350 mark (with flights) for five days. The trip to Chernobyl, Pripyat and the Red Forest costs around £110 for the day) http://www.tourkiev.com/chernobyltour/ that website is the most recommended on the internet, lots of positive reviews on TripAdvisor and apparently they sort everything out for you (in terms of government papers, clearance etc etc). With spending money the trip will probably cost around £500 - £650 imo but I've been told Kiev is very cheap for food etc.

I find that sort of thing interesting. Would definitely like to see it. Think I need to do campaign on Cod 4 again. Are there any humanoid mutants there that have been found at all there or evidence of it.

Sadly not mate, the reactor (Reactor 4) is off limits as it is leaking radiation. Chernobyl is actually occupied as it is constantly watched and the concrete used to create a "coffin" to block radiation isn't actually that secure, one day it will destruct and if that happens... we're fucked but they are constantly rebuilding it etc.

The closest you can get (that I have been told is around 150m away from it) unless you know any of the workers inside, they can only work for a few hours a day in 5 day shifts, they then must have a 2 week break before returning back to work for another 5 days.

    Hey Fly,

It is extremely interesting imo, I'm very passionate about history and how dangerous our world really is, I love to study places such as Auschwitz, Chernobyl, the Kremlin and many others.

As for humanoid mutants, of course there have been extreme mutations in many children born (in Ukraine and Belarus) as they have been affected by mutation as a direct result of the radiation leakage, some people did not leave Chernobyl and some still live within the 19 mile (exclusion radius) and beyond, I would not be surprised if there was one case of a humanoid mutant but usually these children have extremely weak immune systems and don't survive for very long.

I doubt it will be anything like the Hills Have Eyes but certainly there may be something or someone lurking in the creepy realms of the Red Forest.

o well, think i seen a doc somewhere that said if that lump had hit water under the reactor it would of been the biggest explosion on earth.
