I'm currently waiting for sum blue cheese seeds to hatch using the paper tower technique, once I have a tap root should I then insert into a Rockwell or jiffy. Or can I just put straight into soil?

Using the glass of water method, once they've sank should I bang them straight into the coco, or is there an inbetween stage??
Just playing around with some old seeds so not massively fussed if it don't work.
Cheers,
Thclurch

Even if all the grow shops promise "100% discreet confidential service"? etc etc? I can't receive personal parcels at work so that leaves my OHs address to send to......not sure what he'd say to that(There is a good tip for you. NEVER have anything connected with growing delivered to your home address, especially lights, fans cf's and seeds)
All at once, mixed together? Or one after the other, or on alternate days? Sorry, noob question....I will be feeding 1/4 strength Formulex (1.25ml per l) with 1/2 strength RootFast (0.5ml per l) and 1/4 strenth Nirtozyme (0.5ml per l).

Snap - In fact it is the only way i have ever gained 100% success.
I soak rockwool starter cubes for 15 seconds in lukewarm mineral/dechlorinated water, PH'd to 5.6, with formulex added @ 5ml per litre. Then drain them well & carefully place the seed horizontally in the hole
& very loosely cover the hole with a fluffy peace of Rockwool. I don't bother with pre soaking/paper towels as it is too easy to damage the tap root when you have to transplant & it just isn't needed with this method. They then go in a warm place (22-25 degrees celcius) under a CFL or dimmed HPS.
I sit them on a tray with some perlite at the bottom for drainage, keeping the cubes moist using a spray gun (containing the same mix i soaked the cubes in) spraying the sides & bottom of the cubes only - not the top - up to 3 times a day in a warm place.
Within 3-5 days the seedlings should appear out of the cubes (be patient as hard as it is lol) & a lot will already have taproot poking out of the bottom & almost be ready to transplant to the larger RW cubes!
hi all some really good tips and information on this site thanks to you guys keep it up.i was just wondering if some one could help me I start my first grow from seed this weekend I soaked them for roughly 15 hours before doing the paper towel germination n getting there taproots sprouting to about half an inch I then carefully planted them into coco In plastic cups with holes in the bottom I planted taproot down leavin the seedling about half an inch from the surface and gently covered.and now they have broke the surface and im not sure when to introduce light to them I have a 600hps and a 470 lumen 9w=42w any help as to what to do would be much appreciated, thanks
