    Default Cheeky buggers

    I had planned on finishing work on a new wood store I started earlier this year so I can stock up on more firewood (our only form of heating) without freezing me nads off in the middle of winter. The job is put on hold cos of these little critters, four baby swallows, lovely

    I love watching the parents catching flies on the wing, they are still doing a good 30mph when they approach the nest and have to turn 180 degrees twice to get in there, great to watch while smoking a big fat joint of green

    Getting rare nowadays to see them darting about id be letting the nest stay they tend to come back to where they have nested before..

    I couldn't say for sure if it's related but we've definitely had less insect bites and flies in the house this year. I wont interfere with the nest at all, even when the young have fledged. Or maybe I should put the nest in a sock and make some swallow shit tea for my plants

    hi tiktok they might have another brood yet possibly two depending how the weather goes lol.you want to hope we don't get an indian summer mate lol.i take it thats her first?.i would listen to mrs willy myself like lol j/k mate leave them be oh and sprouts are dearer this year due to the lovely summer were having and personally i would use a cricket ball (mind the window) if i had to shift them lol.all the best
