    Damn fella, where to start!
Ok, I will start you with some.
Problems in soil take much longer to resolve than hydro.
ph can cause huge problems in both mediums but is much easier to correct in hydro.
Plants tend to grow faster in hydro but the taste can sometimes not be as pleasant as with soil.
Soil tends to be much less work than hydro, often needing watering just every 3 days. Hydro should really get daily checks.

Hundreds left for other to have a go.

    Well.. I'll pick up one..

Are you talking about mineral grown weed in soil or organically grown weed in soil? There's a big difference already.. the latter being a far better smoke.

If you're just going to grow in JI (or other non-organic chemically fertilised) soil with mineral nutes then I'd just not bother and grow hydro. You'll get the same or better quality and a bigger yield in my opinion.

If you want the best possible quality and flavour then read-up on the organic section and master the art of looking after your soil according to the organic principals. The microherd will do the rest for you.

...hydro...quicker..better yield...cleaner..no humping bags of dirt about...any probs can be sorted out a lot quicker(usually)

and personally i think a lot easier than soil.

I've never even done hydro but I have to agree with that wholeheartedly anyway.

Ive never grown in dirt but i reckon dirt and hydro would both yield the same results if done right and all other factors of your grow are good , its just that dirt takes longer than hydro.

nah jimmi i thin kthe amount of available o2 to hydro roots will always kick ass, thats why coco works well too, soil is dense

Soil for the win. Wert grew in soil. That is all anyone needs to know.
Chavdro is too complex and noisy, fukin pipes all over the place and turns the groom into a sodding chemistry lab.

Muck, muck, glorious muck, nothing quite like it for growing some bud.
Its another completely useless post from....

Glad someone said what I was quietly thinking. I'd give anything to get a smoke of his organic weed.

I here you man , but although ive never done dirt , well once, my first grow went tits up ,but i cant see why one would yield more than the other , its just alot faster in hydro, although yes o2 to the roots is just one factor , but thats only gonna speed up growth isn`t it ? , like i say im tottally unsure, just i cant see y yet i can also see why , jeeeeez im lost and confused lol , cheers bro.

i must say though , i grew in soil and the buds were more dense and tasty, theres been a lot of disagreements on this but thats just my opinion, like jimmi said coco too , the reason why ? its airy , plenty o2 to the roots, i also think thats the reason perlite is a must for soil, but answer to the question , soil id say tastier , hydro/coco faster and much better yield
