That is impressive, might look into building something similar maybe with a pond or something

Nice, I am from Dorset so familiar with the naga but didn't know there was a hybrid naga. To be honest I'm a bit scared to try a naga after hearing the rep lol

Looking very green and healthy bud light year, Chillis are coming along nicely too. What are you feeding them??

Some beautiful peppers you all are growing :-)

I would like to grow long horn peppers just do not know anything about how to grow them :-/

Was thinking to put them in dwc and some small tent with 50W cfl.
Is 50W cfl enough for one pepper plant ?

I really wouldn't know, mine has just had natural light, I would imagine 50w is a bit underpowered though but that's just my opinion I'm sure somebody else will know better

I am growing 6 different types at the moment.

All bar 2 were from seed, theses are the two I bought as plants from the Chilli Shop in Brighton Marina

    Thai

    Numex
    012.jpg

All were grown outdoors in one of those cheapo plastic greenhouses.

The pics do suck because it was getting dark and its raining :-(

Will do some pics properly when it's sunny and dry !

I also have Tokyo Hot, Hungarian Black, Oxhorn & Devils Brew on the go.

Thanks mate. I just have some 50W pll bulbs around so was thinking to use them. I might use some sort of LED light instead.
What would be a minimum wattage for one plant ??

    Thanks for help

If you have several you could use more than one mate. 3 would be ok I reckon for one plant ?

I would say just grow them in a window and save yourself some money, it's gonna cost you more in electric than what they are worth, would be cheaper to just buy them In tesco I suspect.
I found mine doesn't like it in the garden when its cold so I keep her in the window where it's warmer and just put her in the garden when it's sunny. She is doing really well and that's even with the summer we've had so far. I think it helps that my curtains have a white back as the plant grows towards that instead of the window lol

Vador - you are absolutely right about the electricity cost but again peppers I like can not be purchased in UK(tesco, asda ect) :-( We do not have sweet peppers back at home so I have to buy peppers at the international shop and price is ?
£1 = per 1 piece if they have them :-(

Loads of different naga's vador, in fact the Dorset one is a ghost chilli hybrid,
My chilli plants are all in a mix of veg/tomato fertiliser & coco, fed them with the bat poo to start with but now fed on a purpose chilli feed called chilli focusImageUploadedByTapatalk1344321959.096721.jpg
The new ultra chilli is a brown maruga trinidad, is over 2million in the scovile rating which makes the dorset naga seem mild

Fair enough, I would see how they get on with natural daylight first if that's not enough then try a light, but it's up too you, putting them under a light would probably produce better Chillis. But whatever you do good luck Fellow chilli eater

Well I never, I never knew that. Have you tried daves insanity sauce or the ghost sauce? I'm guessing that's why it's called ghost sauce cos its got the ghost chilli in it. Nice stuff though although really quite hot

I decided to buy some seeds in the end, I realise how much longer it will take but I liked the look of the trees so went for it
    I ordered a Japanese cedar
    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1344354590.427833.jpg

    And a firethorn

Not bad cost £4 for 30 jap cedar and 10 firethorn. My goal is to make a mini Forrest with 2 cedars and 1 firethorn, so now I'm looking around for the perfect dish to put them in. I can't wait exciting stuff (sad I know lol)
What soil is best do you know?? I typed in bonsai soil on eBay and there's hundreds on there, is there any one in particular I should be looking out for
    Cheers

Sorry pal only just seen your post. I've never used ionic bloom so can't comment on that but if she is flowering it would be wise to start feeding. Your Chillis will pop out from right in the flower. A good way to tell if she needs a feed is check the stems on the leaves and the joining branches, these should be a healthy green colour, if there's any red on the stems then it's time to feed. Mine can't get enough at the moment she got 2 feeds in a row, I water roughly once every week and a bit so she had plenty of time to soak up the feed
    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1344360981.694032.jpg
As you can see my chilli is growing great guns. If you look at the branch the chilli is connected too you can see the red I'm talking about, it was darker red and spread out more but after 2 feedings as you can see its nearly all green again
