Anyone else finding that advert for Formula Flora irritating?

I use this forum on stealth mode too - it's hardly stealthy with a bug lump of weed sitting in the corner and 'GROW HUGE BUDS!' flashing across the screen. I understand the need for advertising but can the adverts not be a little less overtly... weedy.
Even Herbie, apart from appearing to be a mindless idiot, looks like he could do with a couple hours more sleep a night. I don't know about you but I don't really relate to him - he's not my demographic if you know what I mean and I'm quite sure that a lot of THCT users are not well influenced by this frankly lazy characture of a stoner. In my experience they are generally more intelligent than the average person, especially the growers.

This formula flora programme says you should start feeding from week 0 with their start feed 11:40:13. These feeds work in both hydro and soil as well apparently.

didnt even notice the advert for it till i seen this thread, dont pay notice to the adverts, when i first signed up there was none, now theres a few but not as bad as other sites...

still sucks tho, always thought that we should keep the site add free but i guess the site needs to generate some dosh to pay for the server n shit so meh, fuck it

Unfortunately with the forum getting bigger every day and the server costs rocketing, Rags has had no choice but to allow certain sponsors so that he can keep the forum running.

Personally I don't think the bud on the banner is too 'in your face'.... Pretty much every single thread you click on to read has far more buddage photos.

yea, it sound good eh.. cheap as well... but then, they all sound good.. i think they should at least sponser a grow or 2 with there nutes b4 they can advertise, least then we will know if they are any good!

Ideally we should all be clicking on those banners whenever we use those websites.

Those ads (URL's) are specific to THCTalk and they let the sponsors know when a purchase has come via this site.

If you are using stealth mode, then you could set your browser to NOT display pics or be in txt mode only. That might do it for you

they dont popup, theyre at the bottom of every page. pretty unobtrusive really.

I dont have an issue with any of the adds on here TBH
But it does make me wonder exactly how much the site is actually worth?

Im sure the sites not for sale so perhaps its not really the place to discuss it but it would be interesting to see exactly what the members "think" its worth
