Hello to everyone im currently nearing the end with my plants its my first real attempt,Im starting to see amber trichomes on the sugar leaves I am also flushing now because of this and the leaves are starting to die off.The plants were autos and there on there 16th week from seed so there taking bloody ages, ive got some more ready to go in so now id probably just chop, dry and cure but am concerned that if I do this I might lose out on a 1/4 or something in weight,in anyones experiance of seeing the first amber trics and flushing will the strain likely grow anymore.

Another question is I have made a little drien box with hanging points with air holes in the box, no fan inside though just passive. The temp is always between 18 and 22 at the moment,I cut one plant early and the drien box was sitting on top of my home made tent which is wood frame with black/white out on,when you touch the top you can feel a bit of warmth from the cfl's inside so would this cause the weed to dry to quick if the box is sitting against the top,I thought it might help out a bit because its been cold here lately.Any advice on these matters would be mu cho appreciated

Firstly I doubt u gonna lose anything by chopping them they not gonna grow a quarter in a couple of days
Once most the trichs are cloudy some amber is when most chop
A think that may dry it a bit to quick best just to hang it up and jet it dry itself and truce sit lol it's hard I no

In those temps, I'd say if it's just a bit of heat of a cfl, I doubt that would make a negative impact, what it sounds like you might want to worry about is bud touching bud... or close proximity with not to much air flow and high humility, if you have either of these then you run a high risk of bud rot.

thanks for the replys, yeah that would be nice another q in a few days..I lookd up drien and curing and aparently if ive dried the bud a bit to quick if I stick a fan leave in the glass jar when curing it, the bud will absorb any moisture it nd's.But as with anything worth doing u got to do it urself to find out if it will work for ur situation!..nw its jus the waiting game I dnt think ive done to bad for a first attempt and im goin to get a diary on the go nxt time to make things a bit easier
