    Default Quick MH lighting question

Just a quick one before I bang my order in. Is a 400w MH sufficient to finish vegging 4 plants in 20L pots under a scrog inside a 1.2sq tent, or shall I stick a 600w in? Worried about temps in summer, bit of forward planning!

    Thanks for any advice

600w would be better.A 400w would just about cover your size tent but a 600w I would go for..In summer just get a good ruck fan...sorted

if you bought a digital dimmable ballast you could have best of both worlds!

yep true but depends on how much he has to spend..If you did buy a dimmable ballast you can use a 600w and a 400w same bulb in same ballast

if you have 3 why do you need another ballast? or you just mean a bulb?

ok then I would suggest a dual spec HID that does both blue and red spec..the Sunmaster is a excellent bulb

Spot on Up2! Would u say that bulb will reduce stretch? Have used dual spec a few times but this time I was thinking mh before I switch to hps as I want some super tight nodes in late veg/early flower.
