Default Is using an extract fan and carbon filter outside of the tent possible?

    Hey guys.

Just wondering if this was actually possible?

My tent is only 0.9m x 0.9m x 1.7m (DS90). I'll be upgrading the tent size in about 6 months when we move. But I have just received my RUCK fan and Rhino carbon filter today. Thing is, I purchased the 6" versions, but on getting them out of the box, I came to the conclusion there is no way they're going to fit in the tent, especially with the parabolic reflector.

So can it be installed up outside of the tent (space outside the tent isn't a problem). If so, could someone be kind enough to explain which order it would go?

Sorry for asking a completely noob question, but please remember, everyone was a noob at one point

    Cheers

you can have it inside or out sucking air straight through the filter and out the tent is supposed to be the best way but having the filter and fan outside works jst as gd

So would it be; tent>vent to outside>fan>carbon filter?

Would the heat and smell extract really be as good outside as it would inside?

Are you venting out of the house or into your bedroom or similar

Will be venting into the room, which has a nice size window in it.

Simples buddie, bit of ducting in your groom, > fan > filter sitting on top of your groom, thats what im just about to do myself as my babies have got a tad big, lol, basicly where you would normaly put them inside your tent just put them on top mate, job done. hope this helps Schizo.

I have a duct in my room and 10mtrs away I have a fan and then my filter on the end 5mtrs further on, it works just as well, but I have seen it written somwhere, that fans blow through your filter better than sucking through it.

When blowing into a filter, make sure you put the fluffy pre-filter inside rather than outside
