Default Flood n Drain step by step plans (£20)

First off i must say that I never designed this I have only collected the info and put it together

right now on to the cool part - building a F n D system for under £20

First off you need to get some parts

    Now the tank

You need to drill 2 1/2 inch holes in the tray for the tank connectors

Now you want to put gauze in there to catch whatever gunk there is from comming through

Now you have to spray the tank black to keep out algie but remember to put a piece of tape on the front going up in a line so when the paint has dried you can take it off and it will give you a fill line and let you see when it needs to be filled up

Now all you have to do is fit the pump and add water and thats it

You can use different size tanks this one is a 25ltr one but you can make larger ones and modify it to the max as shown below

well hope this helps someone as it has helped me

    Cheers

That's an impressive little set-up you've made there!

I've been toying with the idea of hydro for some time now, but just haven't got around to it. A bubbler would probably be my first port of call. Thinking of a big one, with maybe 3 plants to fill a SCROG.

Good luck with that growz, I for one will belooking forward to seeing the results.

Cheers m8, its quite a simple design but i can see it being really effective

im the same as you m8 been doing alot of reading up on hydro and quite fancy giving it a go most of ma mates are on hydro and they say the wouldn't look back at soil growing just because of the quick turn around that you achieve with hydro

by the way man well done on getting the MOD-ship

The main reason behind my interest is to do away with the amount of soil I get through! Turning up with 100L bags in the middleof winter is just a little suspect
I'd probably run a smallish bubbler along with a soil grow just to get the feel of it, but there's always this voice in the back of my head saying "soil tastes best"
I guess it's going to be a case of suck it and see

When do you plan to have this up & runnin?
