    Default perlite or coco

    hi guys.ive just discovered this hempy section.ive been growing in soil in my greenhouse up till now but this year i would like to try a few hempys.what would be the best thing to put in the buckets,pelite or coco.and wil i see a big difference in the yield compared to growing in soil

    hi mate, no experience with hempys myself.. but have you thought about growing just in coco run to waste? a lot of people on here are using that method and getting excellent results.. completely free draining and feed with fresh nutes every day.. jobs a goodun

    i dont think that perlite is required with coco.. and yes you are likely to see an improvement on the yields as long as you manage the ph and ec.. get a meter if you havent already got one.

    hey von ,thanks for the info,is the run to waste set up just coco in a plant pot and hand water or is it more complex.

    Use perlite and it gets covered in algae so coco all the way with clay pebbles in the bottom part of res.

    coco is easy and you can get great results
