Tips on drying/ keeping weight loss down

Hi all

I have always found that drying above 17degreesC has always given me crispy buds that are still wet in middle so usually dry slowly at about 15/16degrees but after losing 85% on my last dry BEFORE curing i seriously need some tips about drying and keeping weight loss down!!!!

After talking to a few guys ive realised my humidity is too high which prob caused so much water retention so im looking some tips on drying and losing as little weight as possible???


....................... also can others give me examples of what you loss % wise on each grow/dry, thanks

p.s. i cut buds off and dry on a drying rack,

would i be better just hanging branches up to dry????

I cut them off with the branches off mine and hang them in a dark tent at about 18-20C with a fan blowing gently round it for 3-5 days. I check them every day and when they get dry I cut off the buds and cure them for a week before I smoke it

in this thread i was looking just general tips about drying from other people on how they dry whereas in other thread i was looking specific answers to my problems. sorry should i not have done this?

cheers m8 60-70% loss AFTER curing is what i should be getting, have completely overlooked humidity in last couple of drys

lol I forgot to mention that as well in my tent its always about 50-55% humidity
more or less as you know is bad
