Thumbs up getting ready for outdoor season!

Hello folks. I'm getting ready for season. I have a few questions. 6 and half month grow season is sativa strain worth messing with? Have some delta 9 labs I wanted to try. And delcious seeds critical super silver haze. Also what would be best to put autos out to get 2 grow. I was hoping someone would kindly mentor me but after request seems like I'm on my own.
    Thanks ermlight

If I had 6 1/2 months to grow outside I would def. do a sativa or a cross that took a longer time to finish.

I only have 4 months so I have to start inside and I need short flowering time plants. Last year I did my first outside plant which is normally a 9 week from flip to finish inside. I had to bring it inside 1 week before chop because the frost/cold got so bad.

Thanks for that. I can run untill middle of october but that's pushing it. But some of delta labs says 10 weeks fower time grown in soil. I got the outdoor fever. As one day I hope to have a nice setup indoors.

Hi erm, the important thing outdoor is the flowering time, most will start to flower about the last week of August, so 10 weeks from then will take you into November.

I grew a mango haze 2 yrs ago and had to bring it in to my garage to finish under lights, harvested 1st week of December, same with a trainwreck last year, neither would have finished outdoors. Have a look in my diaries (links in sig below). A lot of outdoor types on the forum grow Purple Maroc, usually finished by early October, there a quite a few early finishers about these days, check out Herbies.

Good luck and have fun, I love growing outdoors, I reckon the weed tastes better, it's the finishing bit that's tricky.

I always forget most of you guys are in the EU/UK. My outdoor growing season is minimal where I am at in the Pacific Northwest. If I were home (North Carolina) I could grow from April 1st until the End of November and sometimes mid December depending.

yes that is a perfect time mate..i grow outside only and i do 3 or 4 sativas and the rest are sativa/indica mix..i have 5 strains from delicious seeds as well..its a very realiable seed bank there..i got delahaze and super lemon haze for my outdoors this year as well..i put mine in the ground on march first then come around middle of april i take them to the final spot..let me know how that critical SSH turns out bc next year im gonna get me some those as well..so for my next year outdoors it will most likey be super lemon haze, delahze, and super silver haze..

can u get a wire chicken wire? its very flexiable and cheap..and u will want to 2 stakes..like the ones that come with a tent that has hoooks so they cant move the wire..i also camoflague mine..i spray with brown or green paint and while its drying i stick some leaves and small stems on it..this helps to hide the shinny stuff so a helo cant see it in case they fly over..i wouldnt waste my time on human hair and stuff mate jsut get the wire...let me know if u cant get it and we will try another option but really this is the safest way and u wont have to worry about ya plants gettin eaten

Human shit should work too. I know its gross but the deer should think it means there is another animal close to the area and move on.
