Default Anyone feel slightly mentally unstable at times . . .

And no i dont mean through weed, i just mean through lifes general turmoil, i used to be able to handle all of this sort of day to day shit. Not so much anymore, usually im a happy kinda huy, just gets on, then someone or something fucks it all up and i straight away get angry or depressed but it seems to last for days, i know weed will only relax me so much before my mind starts looking deeper into the situations and then the bigger pictire, without the weed its generally anger but ive had those issues since i was teen so i cope with those in a differnet way, anger management and all that.

Just wondering if anyone has a similar experiance with general life and living? and btw this not a attention post, im generally looking for some others opinons.

i just been through a similar thing mate. get down doc`s and have a chat. i never thought id get depressed or anxious. i was to proud to go doc`s and all that manly bull shit. and i left it so long it nearly ruined me. it got to the point when i couldnt leave the house without hitting someone or coming back a nervous reck. i think its easy to not see the feelings your having a serious untill its to late. im all good now, took some pretty strong drugs and a few meetings to get me straight but i feel all the better for it.

get down the doctors mate. i hope it all works out well for you.

Dont get down or angry about anything apart from yourself. that is usually the cause of such things. Why give other people the ability to make you angry? That is a choice you make. Then it must be you, so what is it that is making you angry? Either conclude you are not really that bothered about it, or do something about it. Id try this approach before asking the doctor for pills.

We all feel mentally unstable at times, it's generally the human condition. There is a reason we are all here on this forum after all. You must learn to seperate youself take a different approach to things and try to looks at things from a different point of view. If you can't at this point, take it easy and relax, and be kind to yourself. Sometimes we all need to reset and restart and there is nothing wrong with that, that's always an option for you, a safe place just for you and only you.

I think everyone gets fucked off, I'm at my worst when I'm injured and can't train, which is my current situation.

I'd recommend exercise to anyone who's got a tendency to feeling low and depressed, endorphins are a wonderful thing.

i hate it when something/someone puts a spanner in the works, as i like tureen well same shit different day, if i get down over things i like to train spot love watching the 4452 to cardiff lol only joshing, no i just take a break have a kit kat and have a breather to calm my nerves breath in 10 seconds hold then out the same. it works a charm for me, we all get down but unfortunately for some they take it to heart, i would not go to the doc's because the fuckers around here like to give marzies+vals don't get me wrong they do make you feel great have no care in the world, but are addictive very addictive, i take some at times but i know the score with them, i know this will not help but its the way i roll, i hope you get yourself sorted it is good to talk and share your thoughts and not be judged, all the best to you all my motto is fuck them, fuck them all look after the ones close to you. and turn that frown upside down. chillax muka big hugs from walse. oxy lol i am doctor love.

@OP: I was in the exact same boat as you, went to doc and was diagnosed as being depressed.I've been on citalopram for the past 2 years (just came off them before xmas) and I found they helped to level me out and get to thr stage where I could get to the root cause(s) of my depression. They do take a few weeks to kick in (it's a gradual build up in your system, taking extra doesn't help) but long term I found them to leave me feeling very disconnected from reality and I was on a relatively low dose (15mg/day). Also, they can be addictive but withdrawal isn't the worst (for me it was dizzy spells and sweats).
IMHO if your mood is affecting your life or that of those close to you, you are best off getting help
and your doc is probably the best place to start. You may not need anti-d's, sometimes just having someone non judgemental to talk to can help immensely.
Best of luck regardless of what you decide to do, and feel free to PM me if you want to ask anything.

Thanks people, been very informative reading all your own experiences. I've done the doctor thing but i refuse to go on anti's, my old dear was on them for 6 years . . that i know of, mabye longer, she swears they did her no favours, at the start yes but afterwards she ended up even more hysterical in other life situations, somehow managed to hold down her job through this and she reckons work was the only thing to take her mind of x,y,z . .

I work myself and have found that although im still running certain situations through my mind while at work, im finding concentrating on that and going back to the weight training as of sunday has helped get all those good endorphins running round my head

As I said, its not that it happens alot, i just seem to get stuck in my own mind sometimes, with certain things and then just find it hard to smash past them, hopefully it should all come good in the end.

Much appreciated for the advice, all of you's.

I know exactly how you feel WS. One of my twin baby boys got diagnosed with severe autism a couple of years back. It sorta broke my soul a bit if you know what I mean.
I also refuse to take meds. Don't trust them. Have seen what they can do. Thats the reason I'm here. The weed helps me a lot but it's no cure.
    Good luck fella.
