Summer question

Planning on getting a budbox l 1m x 1m x2m but unsure wether to stck a budget 600 w reflector in or a parabolic 400 due to temps v yield any thoughts it will have a 6 inch carbon and a 5inch intake

Treat yourself mate go 600 parabolic with a 6inch extractor and 5 inch intake aslong as there good fans temp will be good

Yes, the "80cm" is usually known as a "Medium Parabolic" .... 100cm is Large

Oh just on greens it said the 80cm was for 400w and not 100cm for 600w but ill be okay with a 600 in the 80vm then? Thanks

Yes mate the 80 is cool with 400 and 600
And the 1m is for 600 and 1000 and you will get more lumins per watt with the 600 so aslong as your fans are good temps won't be a problem

when the summer comes everybody struggles with temps mate doesnt matter what extraction its the ambient temp what causes the problems

I agree but it can be a struggle but with a good air exchange rate it's easily do-able

well with 6in out 4 in i was struggling last summer in a 1.2 and a 600w i had to buy an aircon unit to keep the ambient down

I'm not arguing with that my friend I'm just saying it's do-able by extracting from as close to the heat source as posible and a bit bigger intake , lots of air circulation and running your lights over night it took me a long time to sus mine but I got there

ye i no what you mean and i was alright at 12/12 its just vegging in the summer on 18/6 what causes problems i mean wen i say struggling i was hitting 30 sometimes but the rest i wa ok

I reckon if you swapped your 4 inch for a 5 you could get that down a degree or 2 and if you use a my bulb for veg they don't give of as much heat
